Wine, Food, and Whistler

Living in the lower mainland area of British Columbia is pretty great. Within an hour, I can be at the ocean or up in the mountains. This past weekend we went to Whistler to enjoy the Cornucopia events.  Cornucopia is Whistler's celebration of wine and food. There are events for the food junkies, the wine lovers, beer connoisseurs, and the party animals. Events where you can create your own cocktails or  sample the best selection of wine and beers.

The event that we decided to hit up was POURED. An event held at the Whistler Conference Centre where we could walk around and sample wine, local craft beer, and various hard liquors. It is a pretty fun way to spend the evening; get a little dressed up, drink some wine, and socialize.

We only went to the one event, but there is ten days full of events that you can go to and enjoy. If you’re in the area next year, I suggest you check out this wine and food festival.
